XVR in action at NUAA

The Civil Aviation Emergency Science and Technology Laboratory, of the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA)adopted XVR Simulation and other technologies in its lab to conduct emergency management research pertaining to civil aviation. XVR Simulation local partner, 119VR, has provided the necessary technical support for the software and the construction of the laboratory.

After a year of construction, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics had the grand opening of its Civil Aviation Emergency Science and Technology Laboratory on 16 April 2019. Li Jian, Deputy Director of Civil Aviation Administration of China, lead the tour of the research lab for CAAC East China Regional Administration, leaders Jiangsu Bureau.

The principal, faculty dean and lecturers of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics introduced and reported on their emergency management research.

With XVR Simulation, the team can replicate different incident scenarios to test their airport incident response operations in a safe and controlled environment. Through such training, they can improve their decision-making skillsets, validate their standard operating procedures and response plans, prepare for large scale exercises and more.

119VR’s Zhu Yingdi, XVR Facilitator and Instructor, noted “We are excited to work with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics on their lab and emergency management research. Their work will definitely benefit the public and the aviation industry.”
